    We don’t have to worry about “content.” The artist presents a portrait of things as they are, which is really things as they seem to be. This is an example of analysis and also a certain cognitive dissonance. That is, the expectation of things does not match with what things actually do. Thus, the artist finds himself drowning in certain inebriating liquids which will produce more dissonance and that is how he is amusing himself in the face of compounding open-endedness. Good grief. Did I say that?
