Radiohead probably is the critic’s choice for number 1 of all albums, same as in the ’90s. I still think the #1 single of 2007 was Linkin Park’s “What I’ve Done” but this Archer’s song sounds interesting.

Some recent Indie discoveries (over here on my block) are some pretty phenomenal recordings by Le Loup (French for “The Wolf”) and another guy named Panda Bear (I believe the album is called “Person Pitch”) and it is a psychedelic/Beach Boys-style thingy. Actually, it transcends the Brian Wilson stuff, but nods to it.

Le Loup reminds me a bit of Arcade Fire, but more folky. A strange little album. Woooooooooooooooooooo.

I think Toby & I saw Le Loup open for a concert we went to a few months ago.

The title of the album is The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations’ Millennium General Assembly , yet there is no such song on the album. Type that title into your KEYWORD and do a search. There actually is such an organization!

  4. Sage Says:

Correction! It is not actually an organization!
    It is an artwork!
    !!!!!!!!!!!
    Anyway, it’s a purty thing.
