xkcd

Only a few people know that I have a fondness for webcomics.

I could tell you that A Lesson is Learned but the Damage is Irreversible is very good. I could tell you that The Perry Bible Fellowship is inaccurately named. I could tell you that if you don’t read and love Achewood, you are a philistine.

But I’m going to go ahead and tell you about xkcd. Xkcd not only delights me; it sometimes frightens me. Why? Because all of the following are things that have come out of my own brain at one time or another:

i must say, toby, i am impressed. i’m not an avid comic reader, but i kind of liked those. the one posted above reminded me a little bit of storypeople. have you read any of those? while they’re not comics, i think you may enjoy the poetic nature of many of them.

romace, sarcasim, math and language? of course you love it. tape measure is my favorite.

Romace? Sarcasim? Apparently spelling is not one of the topics. Do you remember having the tape measure contests in your living room? We decided the ceiling was our limiting factor.
