On Three Wheels and Knowing Thyself

by

Have you ever had the conviction that based on the moment you were currently experiencing, the entirety of your life’s decisions was unassailably validated? I posit that the man in the following photograph is having that conviction. I suspect that he has that feeling most of the time.

three wheels

I wonder who is the special lady in this man’s life. Does she realize that the armchair cushions installed on this vehicle are probably an added option? Does she appreciate that he makes that kind of concession to her comfort within his born free lifestyle? Please note that this gentleman is not wearing a helmet while advocating a notoriously unstable vehicle design.

I guess what I’m getting at is that this is a man who knew something he wanted. Did he want another suppository shaped four door sedan? No. He wanted an ivory motorcycle so big it has a stereo and a trunk. While this scene would be a waking nightmare for me, I have to give him credit. This is a man who has his identity on lock.

Does anybody think, as I do, that this looks like a mobile Japanese toilet?

Now that you mention it, it kind of does.
